So I commented that with my mom and, after telling me, in short, that our friend must be a little too stupid to express herself properly and hearing me explain why the fact that she has a black friend doesn’t make her less racist, she tells me not to be crazy like my father.

My dad is a homophobe who thinks every man he sees is gay. With no apparent reason. ~~I think he might be gay.~~

Mom, WTF. Seriously? I show you some of my smartness and sense of justice (which you’re so proud of) and you call me crazy and compare me to my douche dad?

And then, when I complain about it and tell you why I’m not “crazy” because I have good reasons to be suspicious of her, you tell me I’m distorting your words and then go to sleep, bored with my “stupidness”?
